General Refill Information
MEDICATION REFILLS WILL NOT BE GRANTED BY PHONE OR ONLINE WITHOUT A FOLLOW-UP VISIT. IT IS REQUIRED THAT WE PHYSICALLY SEE YOU.
Also, we do not obtain prior authorizations for those medications requiring prior authorization from your insurance company.
We will work with you to find a covered alternative. If you are prescribed a medication that is causing intolerable side effects, or if you have a question about a medication, you may ask your question online for the provider who prescribed or recommended the medication to you. To submit a medication request in advance of your appointment use the
Medication Refill Request Form
. These messages will be addressed in the order in which they are received, and may take up to 72 hours for a response.
If you have an emergency you should report to the nearest emergency department or dial 911.
Once your provider has given a response, it will be sent either by email or one of our clinician representatives will contact you with instructions. Once again, all medication changes require you to be seen in the office. If we are changing you medication less than 30 days from which it was prescribed, you must return the remaining portion to our office for counting and destruction.
