Since we are specialists we do not directly obtain referrals. All referrals should be obtained by your primary care provider. Only if it is absolutely necessary, we will, obtain a referral for appropriate services, diagnostic studies, and treatments. If we recommend a procedure, such as a nerve block, we will obtain the necessary authorization from your insurance company.
