Making Appointments

Make an Appointment.

Patient appointments can be made by calling our offices or by scheduling your follow-up appointment immediately after your office visit. After making an appointment you will be able to edit or cancel the appointment, but be aware that appointments cancelled within 48 hours of your appointment time will result in a $40 charge to your account. You can come back to this site at any time to view all of your scheduled appointments.

Appointment Scheduling Information.
Our office is open from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday. We try to see all patients on an appointment basis, and request that you schedule in advance so that we can reserve time for you. If you call, our staff needs to know the nature of your problem so we can schedule you appropriately.

We cannot accommodate patients on a walk in basis so please call for an appointment. We know your time is very valuable and therefore try our very best to adhere closely to your scheduled appointment. Occasionally emergencies do arise which may result in some delay. We will try to notify you when possible to prevent waiting.

Please assist us by being on time for your appointment. Keeping on schedule is a priority for us, but if you should have to wait, we ask for your patience. We attempt to call our patients as a courtesy to remind them of their appointment 1-2 days in advance. If you do not receive a reminder call, you are still responsible for keeping the appointment or notifying us of cancellation.

Cancellations.
We realize that situations may arise which prevent you from keeping your appointment. We ask that you notify us as soon as possible so that we can reschedule your appointment and use this time to accommodate other patients. In case of a hurricane or inclement weather, we ask that you call the office to confirm that we will be open .

Follow-up/Medication Refill/Brief office visit.
This should be used for routine office visits which are brief, such as those patients who are maintained on the same medication regimen on a monthly basis. Also if you need to follow-up after a procedure in which there are no concerns or complications. This visit should not take more than five to ten minutes to address all issues.

New patient evaluation/comprehensive evaluation.
This is used as a comprehensive evaluation of all systems, generally done only once a year and on your initial visit. This will include a comprehensive history, review of past and present problems, and review of all pertinent X-rays, CT scans, MRI films, and reports of any tests related to your pain problem.

Extended Follow-up Visit.
This type of visit is for review of additional information which we requested after your initial evaluation to further evaluate your pain problem or to review and discuss new tests and alternative treatment plans.
